General
In these terms and conditions:
1. Products means the products listed on our Website.
2. Readings mean the Psychic Readings as listed on our Website.
3. Services means the services offered on our Website.
4. Terms means these terms and conditions.
5. “We” “us” and “our” refers to Angelene Dove trading as Divine Connection Infinite
Spirit.
6. Website means www.divineconnection.co.nz .
Use of Services Products and Website
1. Your access to use of all information on this Website including purchase of our
Products or accessing the Services are subject to these Terms. By accessing our
Website, you have been deemed to have accepted these Terms in full. If you do not
agree with all or any part of these Terms you should not use the Services or purchase
the Products.
2. You must be 18 years or over to use our Services. We have the right to refuse to
provide you with the Services in the event we discover that you are not 18 years old.
3. We agree to abide by our code of ethics below. We have zero tolerance for abuse or
violence of any kind and you must be respectful and courteous when accessing the
Services. This includes bullying, harassment, stalking, or any other form of
psychological, mental, emotional, verbal or physical abuse or other threatening
behaviour. If you are abusing the Services, we have the right to terminate the
provision of the Services or refuse to provide the Services to you. We also have the
right to report cases of abuse to anyone we deem necessary in order to protect
ourselves.
4. You agree that you are solely responsible for having the infrastructure (including
hardware, software and internet connectivity) to access the Services and purchase the
Products and you assume full responsibility for any costs or charges that you incur as
a result of using the Services and purchase of Products, including any additional
mobile data, other interest user charges, mobile phone or landline user charges.
5. We do not guarantee that our Services will be available 24 hours a day 7 days a week
and cannot guarantee booking times. We will advise you as soon as possible if we
need to rebook your appointment.
6. Access to the Services may be suspended temporarily and without notice to you in the
case of system failure, required maintenance or repair for reasons beyond our control.
We are not liable if for any reason the Services or part of the Services are unavailable
at any time for any period.
7. We reserve the right to amend these Terms by providing 5 days written notice to you
or by updating the Terms on the Website. It is your responsibility to review these
Terms.
Intellectual Property
1. The copyright to all content on this Website including applets, graphics, images,
layouts and text belongs to us or we have a licence to use those materials.
2. All trade marks, brands and logos generally identified either with the symbols TM or
® which are used on this Website are either owned by us or we have a licence to use
them. Your access to our Website does not license you to use those marks in any
commercial way and we do not grant you any right to use, copy, reproduce, republish,
modify any items our Website. In the event you copy any of our intellectual property
you acknowledge that those actions will be a breach of these Terms and we reserve all
of our legal rights and remedies.
Conduct and Code of Ethics
1. Respect: We shall provide all Services to the best of our ability for the benefit of the
clients. We respect the client's right to be treated with care and skill so that the
Services they receive reflect their individual need.
2. Confidentiality and Privacy: Should any diagnostic information be received during a
service, or in the course of any service we provide, will not be disclosed to anyone
without the client's consent except where required by Law, or where failure to take
action would cause harm or danger to the client or another member of the community.
3. Respect for other Professionals: If we have clients referred to us by another
Professional, we will return such clients to the original professional when the
specified treatment is completed. We will not disrespect fellow natural health
practitioners, spiritual readers, psychics, mediums, clairvoyants, Reiki practitioner or
other professionals.
4. Cultural Safety: We will respect the cultural background of the client at all times.
5. We will not knowingly interfere with any on going treatment instigated by another
Reiki Practitioner, Health Professional or Medical Practitioner whilst the client is
under that Practitioner's care. We will respect the lineage and degrees of fellow Reiki
Practitioners at all times
6. Complaints Regarding Other Professionals: We always recommend any complaints
should be made through appropriate means to the appropriate association and will not
take part in any gossip talk about other professionals or Services.
7. If you see us in person for a Reiki Treatment, we will maintain hygiene standards to
meet public service needs, a current Practicing Certificate and Code of Ethics will
also be in a prominent position within easy viewing of the client.
8. Dignity and Respect: We will behave with dignity and respect at all times.
9. You have the right to be treated with dignity and respect, have our Services delivered
to an appropriate professional standard, the right to effective communication, to be
fully informed, and give informed consent, the right to support, rights in respect of
teaching or research, the right to complain, the right to change your mind at anytime
during a healing or reading session.
10. If you wish to make a complaint about us or our services, please contact us directly.
Prices and Payment of Services
1. You must pay us before using any of the Services and we have the right to refuse to
provide the Service if you have not paid.
2. All payments are made via Stripe (being the app or a separate site). When you make
payments via Stripe, you are taken to separate site. We have no control or liability
over that site and we will not be held liable for any losses or claims relating to the
separate site. Your credit card details may be stored in Stripe.
3. If you have requested a phone reading, you must confirm that you agree to our Terms.
By agreeing verbally to the Terms, it is assumed that you have read and understood
the Terms.
4. When you call us for phone readings, the reading starts when we have taken your
credit card details and payment is accepted via Stripe. If we have details of your credit
card stored via Stripe, you must verbally authorise us to charge your credit card. We
will ask you to confirm the last four digits of your credit card and the reading will
begin when payment is accepted via Stripe.
5. Phone readings are charged per minute at the rates on the Website. We will take your
credit card details by phone. We do not store any credit card details. When payment is
taken by us, it is entered into the Stripe app. If you wish to continue the reading, if
authorised by you, we may use the credit card details stored with Stripe to continue
the reading.
6. Email and text bookings are charged at the rates as set out on the Website and you
must book all email and text readings. Once payment is received, all email and text
readings will be delivered within 5 working days of payment.
7. The Services and prices may be changed at our discretion. Accordingly, it is your
responsibility to check our Website for the service you wish to use and the prices and
you are not entitled to any claims for compensation if there has been a change of
Services or prices.
Prices and Payments of Products
1. By purchasing the Products you confirm that you agree to our Terms.
2. All payments are made via Stripe (being the app or a separate site). When you make
payments via Stripe, you are taken to separate site. We have no control or liability
over that site and we will not be held liable for any losses or claims relating to the
separate site. Your credit card details may be stored in Stripe.
3. We will not be held responsible nor will you be entitled for any claims of
compensation in the event you use the Product in a manner different to that suggested
on our Website.
4. Any suggested benefit of the use of the Products as set out on our Website are based
on our opinion and we do not claim to cure any disease or medical condition.
5. All prices of the Products do not include delivery costs and these may be additional to
the cost of the Product.
6. Product prices may be changed at our discretion. Accordingly, it is your responsibility
to check our Website for the price of the particular Product and you are not entitled to
any claims for compensation if there has been a change of price in relation to any
Product.
7. We are not responsible and you are not entitled to any claim of compensation for any
Products damaged whilst in transit to you.
Refund Policy
1. If you wish to return any Products, you must inform us in writing within 5 days of
receiving that Product. Please note that we do not accept refunds for any Products
where you have changed your mind.
2. We will provide a refund on any Products so long as they are unused. You must pay
all postage costs for returning the Product to us.
3. We are not responsible for any manufacturing defects of the Products. The Products
are received from a third party. However, if the Product is defective, you must tell us
within 5 days of receiving the Product and send us the defective Product. Once we
have received the Product, we will provide a refund to you
4. All refunds may take up to 5 working days to be processed.
5. If you are unhappy with the results of your phone reading, you must contact us within
3 days in writing with the details of the phone reading (time, date and duration). We
will provide one refund per month per client. The Services are provided for
entertainment purposes only and we do not provide any guarantee or warrant that any
of the actions referred to in the phone readings will occur. We will not provide a
refund if you state that you expected the actions/situations in the phone
readings/text/email to occur in real life or that the phone/text/email reading is not
what you expected to hear and we refer to the Disclaimers below in this regard.
Third party links
1. Our Website may from time to time contain hyperlinks to other websites. Such links
are provided for convenience only and we take no responsibility nor are liable for the
content and maintenance of or privacy compliance by any linked website. Those
other sites are not under our control and we do not accept responsibility for the
content of those sites. Before disclosing any information on any other website, you
should review the terms and conditions on that Website.
2. Any hyperlink on our Website to another website does not imply our endorsement,
support, or sponsorship of the operator of that website nor of the information and/or
products which they provide.
3. Linking our Website is not permitted. We reserve the right to serve you with notice if
we become aware of such linking.
4. From time to time we may host third party content on our Website such as
advertisements and endorsements belonging to other traders. Responsibility for the
content of such material rests with the owners of that material and we are not
responsible for any errors or omissions in such material.
Disclaimer
1. The Products and Services provided are for entertainment purposes only and section
16 of the Summary Offences Act 1981 does not apply to the provision of our Products
and Services We do not claim, nor have any powers of telepathy, clairvoyance or any
similar powers. We do not provide any financial, legal or any other form of
professional advice.
2. Any blog posts on our Website are for entertainment purposes only, or based on our
opinion and experience. In the event you choose to undertake any actions following
the reading of that blog post, we are not liable for your actions and you acknowledge
that any actions are taken of your own volition and not in reliance of any item on our
Website.
3. Whilst we take all due care in providing our Services and Products, we do not provide
any warranty regarding fitness for any particular purpose. We do not offer any
guarantees of any results following the reading or use of any Products or Services as
set out on our Website.
4. The information we channel from Spirit/Source is for your guidance and comes from
a place of pure divine unconditional love. What you do with this information is up to
you. You have free will and can choose to accept or let go of any information both on
our Website and learned through Readings. other Services or Products. You
acknowledge that you are solely responsible for the choices you make as a result of a
reading and we will not be held responsible nor are liable for any choices you make
and the results of those choices.
5. Reiki, Yoga, meditation and Crystals are also known as complimentary therapy, this
means they are complimentary to medical healthcare. None of our Services or
Products that we offer claim to cure any disease or medical condition and for the
avoidance of doubt we do not make any claim that our Services or Products will cure
any disease or medical condition. We cannot be held liable if, after you have been
provided the Services or use the Products, you choose to stop any medical treatment.
The Services and Products that we provide do not replace any medical advice or
healthcare you are receiving. We recommend that you consult your doctor or other
medical professional if you wish to use the Services or Products, or if, after the
provision of Services or purchase of the Products you wish to stop any medical
treatment.
6. We do not diagnose or treat any medical conditions.
7. We do not claim that any of the Services or the Products will replace any current
regime you have, or treat any condition. We only offer, information, or messages as
spiritual guidance from Spirit only to the best of our ability.
8. The Services and Products that we provide do not replace or provide any legal advice
and we recommend that you consult your legal advisor.
9. We are also aware and accept many variations, disciplines and training that are also
available, as well as various other self development, self help options available. We
live in a world full of diversity and we embrace all of this. We offer ideas based on
our current training or experience with or have been guided to learn.
10. This Service is non religious, we are open to people of all walks of life.
11. We also take all due care in ensuring that our Website is free of any virus, worm,
Trojan horse and/or malware, however we are not responsible for any damage to your
computer system which arises in connection with your use of our Website or any
linked website.
12. All phone calls are private and confidential. Phone Readings are not recorded,
although the length of the call is stored in our phone records. You must ask our prior
consent before recording any Readings. Stripe may store your credit card details. We
also conduct Readings by email and text message and those emails and text messages
are kept unless deleted and we store emails and texts securely using our best
endeavours. Your phone number may also be saved for easier recognition. Our
telephone provider records numbers and minutes of phone calls. For more information

13. Testimonials that are provided on the Website are based on individual experiences
and results may vary. There is no guarantee of specific results and each person may
have a different experience.

Limitation of liability
1. We accept no liability for any loss whatsoever including consequential loss suffered
by you arising from Services we have supplied or purchase of the Products.. By using
our Services or purchasing our Products, you acknowledge and accept that you are
responsible for the choices you make following your Reading and use of the Services
and purchase of the Products.
2. We accept no liability for your use of our Website, Services and Products including
errors made by you during the Readings.
3. By accessing our Website, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from all
claims, actions, damages, costs and expenses including legal fees arising from or in
connection with your use of our Website.
Release and Indemnity
1. You release and discharge us from any and all claims, actions, disputes, demands,
proceedings, accounts, interest, costs (whether or not the subject of a court order),
expenses and liabilities of whatever nature and however arising which you may now
have or at any time thereafter might have or, but for these Terms, might have had
against us arising out of or in any way connected with the provision of the Services or
purchase of the Products.
2. You will not bring nor procure that a third party bring or pursue, provide financial
support for or otherwise support any claim, action, dispute, demand or proceeding in
any court or tribunal in respect of any matter noted above.
3. You irrevocably indemnify and hold us harmless from and against any and all claims,
liabilities, losses, costs and expenses (including but not limited to legal fees on a full
indemnity basis) arising out of or in any way connected with or incidental to the use
of the Services, purchase of the Products and breach of the Terms by you.
Governing law
1. These terms and conditions are to be governed by and construed in accordance with
the laws of New Zealand and any claim made by either party against the other which
in any way arises out of these terms and conditions will be heard in New Zealand and
you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of those Courts.
2. If any provision in these terms and conditions is invalid under any law the provision
will be limited, narrowed, construed or altered as necessary to render it valid but only
to the extent necessary to achieve such validity. If necessary the invalid provision
will be deleted from these terms and conditions and the remaining provisions will
remain in full force and effect.
Privacy
1. The Privacy Act 2020 (the Act) allows for Personal Information as defined in the Act
about you to be collected, used and disclosed provided we have provided you with
notice and in certain circumstances also obtained your consent. By providing your
Personal Information to us, you agree to this privacy policy.
2. We reserve the right to review and if necessary, change this Privacy Policy. We may
(from time to time) update, revise, amend or replace this Privacy Policy by posting
any changes to it on our Website or by giving you 5 days written notification of any
change.
3. We are bound by the Act and the Information Privacy Principles (IPP) which regulate
the collection, use and disclosure of Personal Information.
What Personal Information we collect:
1. We collect Personal Information that is reasonably necessary for one or more of its
functions or activities. Generally, the type of Personal Information collected by us
includes your name, address, telephone numbers, email addresses, payment details
including credit card and debit card details. We may ask for your date of birth
although it will be optional for you to provide these details.
2. From time to time, photos may be taken and used for marketing and promotional
purposes which may include images of clients to be used on our social media sites
(for instance Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok as well as our Website). If you are a client
and you have given us permission we may use your photograph and you may be able
to be identified.
3. The type of information that we collect, and hold is as follows your name, address,
email address, contact telephone number, gender, and age and other information (such
as photographs of yourself or family) required to provide the Services to you.
How we collect Personal Information from you
We may collect and hold Personal Information from you to ensure we can adequately provide
the Services to you.
How we collect Personal Information from other sources
We can collect Personal Information about you from other sources in any manner permitted
by the Act. We will only collect Personal Information from other sources where it is
reasonably necessary for us to do so in relation to, or in connection with the Services
provided as set out in the Website. Examples of such sources of Personal Information
include:
from public registers;
from publicly available information;
by requesting information or material from us;
completing surveys, providing feedback or complaining to us;
publicly available sources of information or any other organisations where you have given
your consent; and

When the law authorises or requires collection of Personal Information

We may collect, use and disclose your Personal Information for the following purposes

Provide the Services to you.
Put you on a mailing list and send newsletters to you regarding our Services unless
you tell us not to.
to allow us to run our business efficiently and to perform administrative and

in order to update our records and your contact details;

You can tell us at any time if you no longer wish to receive direct marketing information or
offers from us. We will process your request as soon as reasonably practicable after receipt of
the request.

Sharing Personal Information with third parties
We may seek and use Personal Information about you from, and use or disclose Personal
Information about you to, third parties. These third parties may include:
your representatives, attorneys, lawyers, settlement agents, accountants, brokers;

government and/or regulatory bodies including In many cases, these organisations may
share information with foreign authorities;
mailing houses and telemarketing agencies that assist us to communicate with you;
service providers including IT and data consultants, agents, contractors and advisers that
assist us to conduct our business.

We may share Personal Information about you with our related companies for any of the
purposes described above.
Sharing Personal Information outside of New Zealand
Some programs, software, online tools or Social Media Sites used by us and/or our third-
party service providers, may based in and/or housed overseas. The use of such programs by
us or by our third-party service providers may involve disclosure of your Personal
Information to such organisations overseas. Use and disclosure of your Personal Information
by such organisations is in accordance with the terms and conditions and privacy policies of
such organisations.
We take reasonable steps to make sure the overseas recipients of your Personal Information
do not breach the privacy obligations relating to it.
We will always take reasonable steps to ensure that any overseas organisation that receives
your Personal Information will comply with the Act. If you consent to disclosure of your
Personal Information as described above, we are not required to take reasonable steps to
ensure that such organisations do not breach the IPPs in relation to the disclosed information,
we will not be liable under the Act and you will not be able to seek redress under the Act.
The overseas organisation may not be subject to any privacy obligations in their own country
that are similar to the IPPs, you may not be able to seek redress in the overseas jurisdiction
and the overseas recipient could be subject to foreign laws that compel disclosure to third
parties, such as overseas authorities. Having been informed of the possibility that such
disclosures may occur, you consent to that disclosure by undertaking the type of activities
specified above which indicate your consent.
If you do not provide Personal Information
If you do not provide your Personal Information to us, it may not be possible to provide you
with the Service that you have paid for or to let you know about other Services we provide
that might be suitable for your needs (unless you opt out of this by telling us that you do not
wish to receive such information).
Anonymity and pseudonymity
We are not always able to deal with people who do not wish to identify themselves.
However, where possible, we can provide the Service via phone which may not identify you,
although you provide your credit card details, phone number and name. If you write to us via
email or other electronic or written methods then there is every possibility that the mode of
communication may identify you.

We take reasonable steps to protect all information which we hold (including any personal or
sensitive information) from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
As our Website is linked to the internet, and the internet is inherently insecure, we cannot
provide any assurance regarding the security of transmission of information you
communicate to us online. We also cannot guarantee that the information you supply will not
be intercepted while being transmitted over the internet. Accordingly, any Personal
Information or other information which you transmit to us online is transmitted at your own
risk.

Cookies
When you access our Website, we may send a “cookie” (which is a small file containing a

or device. It also enables us to keep track of your activity on our Website for a period of time.

research our users’ habits so that we can improve our online products and Services. Our

You have the right to request access to any Personal Information held by us which relates to

any Personal Information which relates to you that is inaccurate, incomplete, irrelevant,
misleading or out-of-date. We will respond within 10 days to any request regarding Personal
Information held by us.
We may refuse you access to Personal Information if (among other things):
Disclosing the information would disclose Personal Information about another individual;
The request is frivolous or vexatious or the information request is trivial;
The information is not readily retrievable;
The information does not exist or cannot be found.
We will inform you of our decision, and if refused the reasons why, within 10 days of you
making the request.

information below and provide details of the incident so that we can investigate it. We will
deal with the complaint in accordance with our then current complaints handling procedure.
